Screen time
The online world is part of everyday life for many children and young people. It is a huge virtual playground where they can play, learn and socialise. It can be accessed by computers, mobile phones, iPads and other electronic devices. Children are not only starting to use technology at a younger age, they are also using it in more situations, both at home and at school; more than some parents are actually aware.
Parent Resources to support children online
Children and young people were expected to spend more time online during COVID-19, this included staying connected to friends and family, playing games or for online learning.
