They are also the years in which there is a strong focus on literacy, numeracy and basic skills in the curriculum. Our students are challenged to be resourceful and creative. They learn to work independently and also cooperatively in groups. Inquiry learning is a focus in these year levels.
Our Primary School students have access to the resources of the whole school – library, arts, computing and sporting facilities – with Smart TV's and electronic networking in every classroom. The BYOD iPad/ laptop program for all Years 3 to 7 students provides contemporary, appropriate learning opportunities.
Our Reception to Year 7 teachers are innovative and professional. Specialist Teachers, Special Education CoOrdinator, Key Literacy Teacher and support staff assist and extend students with special needs.
An Out of Hours School Care program operates daily from dismissal time until 6:00pm at the School. This extension of the school day gives working parents added flexibility, while offering children the opportunity to enjoy recreational and creative activities under careful supervision.
